What to do with an old torn tablecloth and old curtain cloth and a too boisterously patterned IKEA pillow.

I love your creative re-use of the gorgeous fabrics and appreciate just the right plumpness ~ isn't that what it's all about? I have a pillow that is soft but too stuffed I think with down, and thinking about taking stuffing out… probably create a big mess. ciao!

Taking the stuffing out of a down pillow would definitely be a messy chore and you'd probably lose that slow sinking melty feeling of down.
