Mustache Pete’s on Center Street
that’s all I’ll say about that.

the bead store down the street where Milo lives.  He hates Lu more than anything and when she walks by he lets the world know about it.


Pizza joint down the street and not that we ever went there but now we never will because El Weepy makes the best pizza on the planet.  I’m not kidding.
 
Wild Ginger best Calamari in town and where I don’t have to look at the menu and can pick up food for take-out in my jammies.

also she has these beautiful trees on her deck.

I don’t quite know what to say about that.  
Where else are you going to find a Michael Jackson as Thriller rubber duck?

i’ve been hiding this week. i did go to work once and lunch with the songbird. i put on some pants and mascara (!) and had the English Cotswald and onion sandwich.
mostly what i did this week was stitch, incessantly. an idea niggled it’s way into my brain and wouldn’t let go until i finished and thank you lord shiva, i finished today. there is ironing and more stitching to do on the machine but i’m done for now. i’ve watched all the New Amsterdam episodes on Hulu mostly because i wanted to see the one our friend wrote and also because i can’t read subtitles while i’m stitching.

my mother called me yesterday and said she wasn’t feeling well and when i asked what was wrong exactly she said she felt like…
something was loose inside of her.
sometimes i don’t know what she’s talking about but today i know just what she meant. 
i feel it too.
