i’ve knit a few rows of the sweater. i’m almost done with one sleeve and i’ve considered amputating my other arm just so i won’t have to knit the other. extreme?
you might think so.
i started some hand stitching to avoid the machine stitching on the boro. so i could sit in front of the fire and watch movies instead.

I get it about the sleeve… they're almost as big as a front or a back! I'm a hopeless knitter, but picked up a vest pattern recently — that's probably better than amputation.

i've taken your advice Melissa and am keeping the arms…unraveling the entire sweater and starting over.
