Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms
I had my favorite breakfast lovingly prepared
by my Favorite Person in the world and I got
a pair of red hand crafted sandals that i was lusting over and
my dog got washed.
What more can a girl ask for?
Well there are a couple things i might
ask for but right now today i’m not going to because i am in full level orange alert mode.
i’m going to close the shades and
snuggle up in that chair which i found down the street at a yard sale and i’m going to watch some movie or tv show and i’ll probably knit or crochet something to keep my hands moving but my brain still.
like that can even happen!
Yes. Another holiday to bring on the guilt and pain. Ain't it great?
Oh honey. Oh honey. Oh honey.

curl up tight in your nest, tighter still. Try to feel safe in moments to gather your strength. I'm so sorry for your heartache.

Happy mother's day to you in your gorgeous orange nest. I think you did good. I don't know why exactly, can't quite explain it, but as far as mothers go, I think you're outstanding. I was thinking about you yesterday, wishing you were closer so you could help me shorten an ankle length rayon skirt, by adding folds to it… it should be easy but if I try, I'm afraid it will look like hell.
love, D

Thank you all for your kind words and well wishes.
Ms Moon…the guilt…well it seems unavoidable at the moment.
Melinda, curling up tight really does help. A little.
D,
I would so love to help you with your skirt! I love the very idea of the folds but you might want to reconsider as ankle length seems to be in vogue.
Angella, I actually felt that hug!
Thank you.
and Mary…
always, Thank you.

Ankle length is in vogue? Who knew! That would definitely make my skirt issue a lot easier.
