most snowbirds have flown and the park is quiet. Not too quiet. Perfect quiet. Mineral tubs and pool are now glittering in sunlight just for me! I can swim laps at random hours and soak in the hot pools til I’m fully cooked.

The snakes are out and there have been some bites in the valley. Walking the hills in the cool early morning now I’m not just rock picking but watching the snake paths.

In the afternoons I’m spinning people into yarn…
