there will be yoga this morning. there will be concentrated noisy breathing and stinky sweat and hopefully dear sweet 7.8 lb baby jesus there will be a loosening of all those gluey joints and at least an hour of no crazy loop thinking just being in this (well padded) bag of bones.

this morning the house feels and looks like a sanctuary, a holy space where peace and tranquility reign supreme throughout the land but where things are slightly off kilter like that potted snake plant aka mother-in-law’s tongue.

“For ages the fault creeps secret through the rock; in a second, ledge and railings, tourists and turbines all thunder over Niagara. Which snowflake triggers the avalanche?  A house explodes; a star.  In your spouse, so apparently resigned, murder twitches like a fetus. At some trifling new assessment, all the colonies rebel.”
John Barth
